Passion for Orchids… How It All Began

For many years, my passion for orchids has been a subject of photography and observation that time does not diminish. The colors of the subjects, sometimes very saturated or, on the contrary, very soft and translucent with that distinctive iridescence of certain species, never cease to captivate me. The treatment of my photographs often resembles watercolors, especially when printed on cotton paper, which gives a similar and slightly satin finish.

During a dinner in my garden with friends, one of them complained about the slight chill as night fell and hadn’t brought a shawl... It was at that very moment that the idea was born to reproduce my photographic works on beautiful, noble materials to wrap my friends in orchids. The BEES Editions was born.

Bees play an essential role in the pollination process, and the idea was not to produce in large quantities but to create beauty in limited editions, respecting our environment and promoting responsible and sustainable consumption.

The search for suppliers, both for raw materials and the manufacturing process, as well as the use of pigments, and the product development process took several months and numerous setbacks before achieving a result very close to the originals.

Today, TBE is diversifying with antique reproductions (read Blog #1) or tribute designs to great artists, but always in very small quantities or on demand, to guarantee originality and stay true to my values.

The range is expanding, allowing everyone to find that unique little something that will make a lovely gift for the home, combining elegance and sophistication.

From My little garden... and now in Spain, Palm Beach, Singapoor, France, Japan, Canada...  I truly love the idea to wrap beautiful women around the world !
