The Story Behind the Brand
It all begins with a single, defining moment—the spark of an idea.
My moment came during the pandemic. After months of restrictions, we were finally allowed to reconnect with family and friends, though only outdoors. I seized the opportunity to invite three friends for a cozy evening on my garden terrace, sharing drinks and conversation. As night fell, a sudden chill caught us off guard. Without shawls or blankets at hand, we decided to move indoors.
And that’s when inspiration struck—I decided to envelop my friends in the beauty of orchids, creating shawls from my artwork in the same botanical series.
What followed was a long journey of researching suppliers, testing techniques, and finding the highest-quality materials. My vision was clear: to craft limited editions, much like fine art prints, using exquisite fabrics.
The first series, Orchids, was reproduced on luxurious cashmere, wool, silk, and organic cotton. But as I worked, I reflected on the deeper values I wanted my brand to embody: my lifelong love for botany, art, flowers, and aromatherapy—fields I had also explored during the pandemic. These passions formed the foundation of my creative process.
Bees became the perfect symbol for my brand—The BEES Editions. They represent the essential connection between nature, reproduction, and artistry. The word Editions reflects the concept of limited, collectible pieces, akin to works of literature or art.
Today, every piece from TBE is designed to stand out. Each creation is framed, ready to be displayed on a wall like a piece of fine art. This unique signature extends across the entire collection, making The BEES Editions unmistakable.
The Evolution of the Collections
Every addition to my collections celebrates the art of hosting outside—whether in your garden or by the pool—with family and friends, just as it all began.
Starting with shawls, the journey continued with pareos and beach towels. These were soon joined by table linens and cushions, creating cohesive ensembles that embody a timeless French Art de Vivre.
